Verizon and ebates?? Experiences?

I just ordered the Note 5 from Verizon's website. Because I'm signed up with ebates, I got the pop up notification that Verizon offers "up to" $150 cash back for online orders. Has anyone actually earned ebates cash back from an online Verizon order? I never know what to expect from those conditional "up to" ebates deals. I assume it could be $150 or it could be nothing. Of course I activated the deal and will have to wait and see if anything shows up in my ebates account, but I was wondering if anyone has seen actual money back from a Verizon online phone purchase. With ebates, the key is to go to ebates website first and then click link thru their site to get to Verizon. If you did that, you should get a ticket (or whatever they call them) number. Ebates can be a good deal on big ticket items. If you're not sure if it went thru, check your ebates account, all tickets are listed. And if you don't see it, email customer service. I've had tickets not show up.
