I just saw this. Looks like some ok deals if you're porting in, but I was hoping for something for current subscribers. Sure, I could activate a Tracfone to port in or something for the Black Friday $300 gift card, but why do that when I can still use the new line activation loophole for the same deal without needing to port in? I'm in the market for a Note 5 on another line and just haven't seen any good deals lately.

Sams club has the note 5 for 96 cents on contract or get a $300 sams gc on dpp.

If you prefer best buy it is 50 on contract, or 250 gc with dpp

We're not a Sam's member, but the Best Buy offer is tempting. What's holding me back is we prefer dealing with the corporate stores for issues. I know if you buy from the independent Verizon stores, you are pretty much limited to dealing with them instead of a corporate store (unless that's changed). If I buy from Best Buy, could I still go through the local corporate store for issues with the phone or does it have to be BB?

We're not a Sam's member, but the Best Buy offer is tempting. What's holding me back is we prefer dealing with the corporate stores for issues. I know if you buy from the independent Verizon stores, you are pretty much limited to dealing with them instead of a corporate store (unless that's changed). If I buy from Best Buy, could I still go through the local corporate store for issues with the phone or does it have to be BB?

Warranty issues will be handled by Verizon directly or Samsung. But returns or exchanges must be made through the place of purchase

I believe Costco has it $245 on contract as well with a $245 cash card , or $250 Costco cash card on dpp

I'm a newb...sorry! How do I keep my current # if switching from sprint to Verizon but I want to do the Trac phone scenario to keep my current phone. Would I have to port my current # to Trac phone then again to Verizon in order to do the trade in deal? ...& will the Trac phone give me the full $300 credit upon trade in?

Are you looking to keep your current phone active on Verizon and do something else with the new one, or get a new phone with the same number without having to give up the current phone as a trade?
