    Default Having some issues

So, I loved my Gtab, before, I decided that ROM manager would be a good idea. That is the last time I do anything without doing a lot of reading. I am getting the error "magic value mismatch" on the viewsonic screen with the three birds. I have searched and I am not having any luck finding simple instructions to recover this monster. I am not new to rooting. I would consider myself an intermediate. I rooted the OF droid and also my DX with no problems.

Can somebody PLEASE point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance

Solid Orange's post should help you get back to stock

if you want to try again, make sure you are using the 2.5.1.1-bekit-0.8 version of ClockworkMod...not the latest 2.5.1.8 which is installed by default with RomManager.

if you scroll to the bottom in RM there is a option to "Flash Alternate Recovery". That is the version I use.

that might have been where you went wrong, not sure though...that almost got me.

this is why i don't like RomManager it just makes things TOO easy

this is a great thread to walk you through everything

I did that, I flashed the latest recovery without even thinking. Luckily I was still able to boot into Android, I just couldn't flash anything in CWM. Luckily noticed that I could flash the alternate recovery. I then promptly uninstalled ROM Manager.

So, I figured out how to use NVFlash. I tried doing a factory reset(to start from scratch), but, my grtab won't boot up again. Is is cuz the battery is not fully charged? I have tried booting in to recovery, and, nothing. Wondering if I have a bad power switch.

where would I go for warranty replacement? My grtab was a gift, and I don't have a reciept. Thanks for all the help!

Warranty is handled through US Merchants I believe.

This may sound stupid, but try holding the power switch for a full ten seconds. I have had a couple of moments of anxiety, when my Gtab crashed and powered down and it took a while (and a couple of tries) to get it to boot again.
