Mine sez on April 1st, so I'm still waiting. I can't wait to compare it against my xoom and iPad. LOL.

No, there's no indication that it's a refurb. What you've heard is true re its general characteristics: the viewing angles are nothing to brag about, though when you're looking at it dead on, the display is very good. The stock TapnTap OS is buggy as all get out! Lots of crashes, no Market support except thru Handango, which looks like it sucks. Am new at flashing ROM so am going a little slow in making sure I know what I'm doing before launching into rooting, flashing and generally improving the g. Am pretty sure it's gonna be great, though.

Yea, doesnt look like a refurb, it was immaculate when I pulled it out of the box. As stated the "market" software is...lacking lol.

The UI hasnt been as bad as I had been reading about, its not super great, but I havent had any crashes or serious lag.

And I will be rooting as soon as I get home, cant wait to see how this baby handles with CM

Got mine last night. Just plugged it in for the first time to fully charge. Plan to root and install Launcher Pro.

Got mine on the 31st. Planning to root it tonight. Seems solid, but the OS they ship it with is garbage... which we all knew. I can't even get Angry Birds to come up -- just crashes the system and have to do a hard reset.

I got mine a couple of days ago.

The viewing angle of the TN screen is pretty bad. Think of it as a built in security feature since no one will be able to read over your shoulder.
The stock ROM is pretty bad. There are several workable options for custom ROMs. You will need to play with them to find one that suites your needs.
The hardware itself feels fairly solid. No complaints.
Battery life mileage varies. I've gone a couple of days on a charge, and that is using it fairly heavily.
From 0-100% the battery takes about 3 hours to charge.

Over all i think it's a very good starter tablet. Once the summer of tablets hits, I may pick up something new and give this to a relative or sell it on the bay of e.

Well got mine today. I hit a little snag flashing it, but it's all good now. Not bad a tablet for the price.

Well this tablet actually make me realized how good the Xoom is. LOL.

Both... Hardware, the xoom just feels like a $600 device, and the Gtab feels like a $300 device.

Honeycomb is kinda weird, that it feels clunky/different at first but it really grows on you. I don't think I want to go back to Froyo/Gingerbread on a tablet.

I just snagged one of these during the wootoff last week now I'm just waiting.

I have no idea what to do with this thing as far as rooting or flashing it but I guess I'm just going to dive right in and figure it out. For now I'm just impatiently waiting for it to get here.

Got mine during the wootoff too (my daughter called me at work or I would have missed it again). Tracking shows it in TX and supposed to be here Wednesday.
Also nabbed a Nook color to play with off of sleazebay. Wasn't that much cheaper than Wally world, but also came with case, SD and no taxes.

We'll see which one drives me crazy first....

The nook is pretty fun to mess with and easy too. I have mine running the latest nightly build of cm7. I also just got a email today telling me tat my gtab has shipped. Can't wait to play with that too. I plan on leaving it stock for a while and see if I can't get any gameloft games to run on it. May wind up flashing cm7 onto it tho if cm7 let's you use keyboard and mouse which I hear the lastest stock update let's you do.

Got mine in today sooner than what I expected. Right now I am charging it up. I ordered this the day Amazon had it as their deal of the day on Wednesday last week. I just hope this thing hurry up and charges fast cause I so wanna check it out!!!!

That's awesome that you received yours sooner than expected. Did you receive yours sooner that Fedex had said? I ordered mine the same day as you and they are estimating a Saturday delivery. I would love to have it sooner.

I was told by Amazon to expect it the 20th and it came a day sooner. I was tracking it and saw it go from Texas to Kansas then to me in Iowa. It may depend on where u r located. Hope it comes in soon for ya too

Make sure to give Gingerbread RC1 a try. Very stable on mine, and looks awesome.

Received mine yesterday. Had it running stock for about 5 minutes, now it is TNT lite and running great. Screen is a little glarey, but that is what anti glare screen protectors are for. Great deal for $280.
