Calibrate numeric keyboard. How?

I recently purchased the EVO V 4G. The keyboard required recalibration and works fine with letters. However, when you shift to the numeric mode the number keys are off alignment. It doesn't seem to carry the recalibration to the number keyboard. I'm having a difficult time entering numbers. How do you fix it?

You don't rely on autocorrect to type when in number mode, so you fix it by typing better.
