    Default can't get 4g to work in "my" evo v 4g 3d

Anyone know why I can't get 4g to work on my evo v when my buddy's evo v has 4g when standing right next to me? It just constantly searches for 4g signal. I tried to use the "hands free activation" then got fail message. So had them do activation manually.

Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

Try restarting the phone and see if that allows you to reconnect to 4G. If it still doesn't work, try updating the PRL and check for software/firmware updates. Maybe that may help.

Tried all that. Even tried all the crap that the vm advisers had me do. Pull battery restart phone---3 times --- update everything --- 5 times --- eventually they told me that they would look into it and call me back in 48-72 hours with some kind of resolution.

I have the same problem. Just called today. Went through the same thing. Now they are gonna call back in 5 days. How annoying. $299. For a phone this sucks

VM eventually sent me a new phone because they couldn't figure out why the wimax wasn't working. The wimax now works fine where available.
