    Default HTC EVO V rooting boot into recovery problems

    Hi ive been using this guide to root my HTC EVO V It was wrking fine untill i gotto step 5 and i cant flash recovery. I've done everything else that needed to be done first and my phone is unlocked. Im on Hboot 1.57. Help Please!!!

    Take a look at LeslieAnns guide over at vmroms, pay attention to the preperations section
    maybe you missed something there , like not renaming recovery to recovery.img ? ,

    give some more details of whats happening when you try to flash it, Im sure someone will help you out
