Hi. Is there a way to turn off and on the back lights on the hard keys (home, menu, back, and search)? My phone is not rooted yet. I've tried some of the light control apps in the play store but none of them have worked. Thank you.
Yes, but not without root.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I will root my device soon. I want to thoroughly read the instructions for rooting this phone first. Thanks again. :)

Thank you. I will definitely root. I just wanted to get a feel for this device for a few days before rooting it. I wouldn't return/exchange a rooted phone. So far so good. I was looking at the roms available and I think I'll try Harmonia also. I have used LeslieAnn's roms for different devices in the past and was pretty pleased. :)

also, the harmonia 3 rom should have ledroid tweaks, which has a setting for that.
You know what they say, all toasters toast toast.

Thank you. I rooted and flashed Harmonia. She did add the tweaks. Everything I was hoping for and more.
I'm digging my phone. So far my toaster is toasting pretty good toast. :)
