So I've cleared as much space as I can manage from my HTC evo V 4G, and it's still not letting me install apps. This time when I try to install a new app, instead of saying Memory Shortage my notification bar will display an Error 919 message. Does anyone have any idea what this is or how to fix it?

This appears to be an error in opening a port through a WiFi connection. I have found that turning off wifi and downloading through my phone provider bypassed the problem. Of course then you pay for the data. . . not the perfect solution.
Good luck!

Google Play Store Error 919 is one of the most common errors in android phones. In this error, when a user tries to install a new app or update an old app from Google Play Store, a pop up error comes on the screen displaying “Unknown Error Code During Application Install: 919“. It may occur with a single app or with all the apps. Usually, there are four solutions to fix/solve this error.

1.Check your phone memory and clear cache.
2. Change APN in Mobile Network Settings.
3. Use Different Internet Connection.
4. Factory Reset Option (It will wipe all data from your phone).
