S T LG55c, how can I tell if rooted after process?

I recently went thru the process of rooting my lg55c, while going thru the steps at the end I get the rooted successfully or what ever it says but in the log I notice a line that says " shell root false" . I dont notice any differences that would indicate sucess. Any help would be appreciated

there's a free app on the market called "Root Checker Basic" and it's always worked for me...

You're supposed to use the lg esteem root, via the zerg rush exploit. Its a one click type root but don't use superoneclick... you won't have adb root without a different kernel.

I have not been able to download Root Checker Basic to my Android or any other app that has been recommended; It just stays in "Downloading" for hours; What's up?

Restart the phone and redownload. If that fails go to settings - applications - manage applications - all - find the market / play app and click it. Then clear its data and retry.

Or vice versa
