Speed dial?

Is there a way to set up speed dial for calling people? I did star a few contacts so that they appear on a separate list, but that's still not quite the same. I may just be missing something "obvious". I'm using the Bumblebee ROM with my OV.

if you hold the home screen or press the menu button and tap "add" youll be able to put individual contacts as icons on the desktop that will allow you to call or text them immediately.

thats about the closest thing a touchscreen phone can get to "speed dial"

whats really cool is you can make a "folder" and put certain contacts in each one. I have a whole home screen dedicated to different folders of different contacts. easier than going through the one long list of contacts in the dialer

Thanks everyone! I downloaded Dialer One! I didn't even think to check out the Market for an app.

Oooh.. Sign is really cool! (I just bought the $ version.) What I like about this is that I can have one contact set up for hubby and can set up a sign for each of his three numbers. With the other program, I had to set up each number as a separate contact. Yay! (But I'm going to keep the Dialer One installed too.)
