Help!
Ok everyone i am new here and to the Android world. I bought my LG OPtimus V around last summer. I love this phone, even more than my previous HTC Inspire 4G. Recently i was messing around with rooting, i downloaded superuser and Gingerbreak. Well i semi-rooted my phone i guess you could call it. It was rooted through Gingerbreak to where i could keep my CPU at 600 MHZ. I tried to unroot it through Gingerbreak and it rebooted fine. I recently did a factory erase
. When my phone booted it shows the LG logo, then just turns black. I have ROMtools. Ive downloaded a few roms. Ive tried flashing it into recovery mode with ROMtools, and ive tried flashing a new rom. Still boots to a black screen. I honestly know nothing about rooting. Ive lookedat guides and most are way over my head. I dont know what else to do. Could somebody help me out? What do i need to do step by step? Thanks alot ladies and gents.

It's probably bricked. That's the only thing I can think of. I know that hitting factory reset from the privacy menu WILL brick your phone if you're rooted. I have no idea how to fix it, but help will arrived soon

Re: Help!
Thanks for the input. I followed the guides and stuff and got nothing. Think of it as my phone is completely wiped. I have no backup on the sd card or anything. How would i reinstall a rom onto my phone. Its driving me nuts. Everytime i use ROMtools and try to flash a rom, it acts like its working, then it reboots the phone and still does the same thing. Im clueless.

Re: Help!
did you try pushing the recommended xonia recovery to your sd card with adb to break the bootloop?... can you still access recovery?... read the threads again... dont just skim them looking for a quick fix, the answers are there... if you can still access recovery... that would be the easiest... :-)

Bottom line is your phone is still fixable. As clod asked can you get into recovery mode? From powered down state hold volume down+home+power.
