Default Question about selling a rooted OV

Hi, hope you're all doing well.

I just sold my OV on Craigslist yesterday. Before selling it, I flashed the Harmonia GB ROM so that it would have the "Activate" app on.

Unfortunately, the buyer keeps getting told by VM that my phone number, which is attached to the OV I just sold, isn't deactivated even though I've called twice to do it.

Could this be because I have a custom ROM on it or is VM just being stupid and not deactivating my account correctly?

    Thanks!

Harmonia GB does not have the activate app, nor will he be able to activate it with the programming menu. You needed to put the Froyo version of Harmonia, or any other Froyo rom on it. If it still has a custom recovery, you may be able walk him through flashing the proper rom so he can get it activated.

My mistake. I meant to day that I installed the Froyo version, not GB. so it does have the activate app on.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Tell your customer to go online and swap phones.

    Then activate through the phone.

Thanks, hoping that works. I had to call VM 3 times because they didn't deactivate my account correctly, and I was starting to fear that my buyer wouldn't be able to activate because I was running Harmonia Froyo.
