Re: Anyone know what became of this?
The Virgin offerings truly sucked. I cant beleive they hosted a big show for three devices, only one of which is really worth it, and thats the one NOT coming to Virgin.
Oh well, I'm moving over to TMo soon anyway.
I wish I knew where and when this event was earlier since I live in NYCHappy Nexus 4 User

Re: Anyone know what became of this?
I read a comment on an article suggesting Sprint merge together Virgin and Boost.
To be honest- I agree. Have one line up of phones- (remove "duplicates"- phones that are the same or similar) e.g. Evo Design and Evo V and merge plans- Keep Virgin's 35-45-50/55 plans and add in Boost Mobile's shrinkage to the 55? Could be a great thing. Still, Virgin's only decent phone is the Evo V, but Boost has the Evo AND the SII? Not fair.Happy Nexus 4 User

Re: Anyone know what became of this?
simple mobile...check em out. they have a $40 plan that blows away vms $55 plan imo. gotta pick a costlier device outside the one wildfire I noticed on their site, but its gsm, prepaid and you can use unsupported phones as long as you can configure it to their network.

Re: Anyone know what became of this?
well from what I saw on simple mobile site the $40 plan was *unlimited 3G data. but there is the asterisk there. don't know enough about how they operate to say whether they throttle you hard or are more relaxed like vm is. both have a theoretical data cap.

I hate x3 saying this, but I'm kind of agreeing with you all. With my mod duties, and my love for the OV community, I'm conflicted...but the GNex or a Note on Straight Talk is looking pretty damn good right now. I've lost any confidence in Virgin after today.
