Beware - Advanced Task Manager

My phone would be freezing to a point where i had to remove the battery to get it working again. It would happen randomly every day. I read about people having problems and it turns out advanced task manager was the cause. I uninstalled it and my phone has been perfectly fine. Just a heads up to anyone! btw i was on stock virgin + xionia beta 2

I had this problem today with the same rom but with no task killers. I forced stopped each process to see if it would fix, didnt. I tried fast reboot pro, didnt. Ended up havin to restart phone. Only happened twice in 2 weeks though. Wasn't doin anythin out of the ordinary. /shrug

I had similar problems before uninstalling Task Manager. My newly flashed stock VM ROM + Xionia kernel was laggy and crashing often. Worse, when overclocked to 806mhz, it was actually less responsive than my wife's vanilla optimus.

btw, I'm a recent addition to Android and the Optimus V family (since March 1, 2011). I'm loving this forum- what a great community. Thanks Zefie and RevolutionRed.

I wonder if it is a problem with that particular ROM. Is anyone else having these issues who is not using VM + Xonia?
