Phone bricked .CAB flash problem

Ok well I went to go restore my phone to factory and forgot that I couldnt it would cause problems. I did that because for some reason it wasnt letting me install a custom recovery. Now all it does it get stuck at the LG logo on boot and stays there. I cant access recovery.

So far I got the .CAB and I am trying to flash it using KP500-Utils-EN tool. IT extracts the cab but it gets a error saying it needs more information. I tryed the method of renaming the CAB to KDZ and using the KDZ flash tool but it fails on extract. Any tips? I called virgin and a free replacement is on its way but i would like to fix it..

Why would you even flash that cab to an android phone in the first place? Try using fastboot to recover.

Because it cant do anything.. cant go into recovery.. cant get to it through ADB.. if I try going to recovery it just loads a blank black screen. How do i use fastboot? the only thing i can get in to is emergency mode

I read somewhere around here about someone who used files for the optimus s to recover with emergency mode. They got it up and working but Mobile Data was broken.

Look at the sticky in the all things root guide, should be able to get it from sammyz. Pm him about zv4, unless your fine with zv5.

Have you tried it? Sammyz rebuild the non working firmware cabs. The one you used probably was one download from somewhere else, only his actually flash.
