I'd like to be able to take spherical photos for viewing in Cardboard. Barring the purchase of a dedicated 360-degree camera, what's the best way to do this using my phone camera?
I have the Cardboard Camera app, but it only takes horizontal 360-degree panoramas. If you look up or down, you see a gray void.
I can create Photospheres using the Google camera, but I can't find any way to view Photospheres using Cardboard.
Is there a way to use a phone to create true, spherical 360-degree photos for Cardboard?
