I'm interested in Daydream, but not wanting to spend the money on a Pixel and a Daydream headset without trying it. Is there any place to check out Daydream and even some of the other options? Is Best Buy carry everything?

Places to demo Daydream VR

Also, while the Pixels are fantastic phones, there are now some other less expensive alternatives which would be compatible.

I do strongly recommend going with a quadHD (1440p) over a FHD (1080p) screen if you want to get a better VR experience.

I would go as far to say to stick with QHD. If it's like other VR experiences, then the resolution will be cut in half. So you would need all the solution you can get, otherwise it could be a distraction
