    Default Audible messages

Lately I have been getting random audible messages congratulating me for winning an app, then I'm asked to shake my phone to access the app. The annoying thing is the message is very loud even when I've turned my volume down; quite embarrassing , and I don't even want these apps.....what can I do to stop this?

I would download something like Lookout and let it scan your phone. Sounds like you have an app or two that pushes ad notifications to you. I had a similiar problem once before. I initially went through the application manager and disabled notifications for quite a few apps but was unsuccessful in locating which app was causing this problem. But once I installed Lookout and let it run its first scan, it located the offending apps and I removed/uninstalled them. Problem solved for me. Hopefully this will work for you.
