Ok, I'm clearly missing something. I see that I have an existing folder on my GNex named /sdcard/Ringtones so I put my MP3 file in that folder. But it does not show up in any menu of ringtones -- not the default one under "Settings -> Sounds -> Phone Ringtone" nor any others (e.g., setting a ringtone for a contact).

So I went the old route and created a /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones and copied the MP3 into there. Same thing: doesn't show up in any ringtone menu.

The MP3 plays fine via the player.

What am I missing? Yeah, I know - it will probably be something obvioius.
