Share Ringtones. New
I am not BRAND new, but to most of you yes
I do not like all the crazy sounds and sayings on Zedge
Would anyone be willing to share their folders of Ringtones, one of Alarms, and one of Notifications
I like plain, simple rings, dings dongs, Old rings. etc
I would be grateful and would give you my email in a message .... and give you a thanks on here

Thanks Raving...and Joshua
Have company coming over now but will look at in awhile.
I got both links tho
Joshua, quick question, from a newbie just learning. What is the advantage of you putting that scan code there, as opposed to the direct link it takes me to?
Thanks Again

Re: Share Ringtones. New
1FastMR2...thank you as well
Very familiar with Zedge. Not my fav, too many "great ring tone" titles, then it says "Pick Up...Your Mom is calling" LOL
Thank you tho All suggestions are appreciated
Those the others gave me are PERFECT....
Any more like that are welcome, as well as very abstract, not pictures, and I believe DeviantArt puts them in the category of Minimalism that I like VERY SIMPLE
in Greens, Blues or Purples
I again will give thanks...and any thing u like
obsessed with wallpapers and ringtones....minus the Driod ones. To ME, they are horrific - 05-13-2012, 09:34 PM

Re: Share Ringtones. New
Raving,
I saw your comment about music storage, and I, too, have used the:
media/audio/ music, notifications, ringtones, and alarms since my Nexus One
I have had a ton of phones...I think one of my phones wouldnt see the alarms, I had to put in notifications
Anyway, with the GN it had the notifications folder, ringtones folder etc right under the sd director;y
I asked my friend if I should use them or arrange them as we discussed. He said he always does as we discussed. Even tho the GN recreates those folders (annoying)
Is there a plus or minus to doing it either way when a phone like the GN has it set up the other way?
I liked the alarms, so I didn't lose them, I searched for them in Astro and found them. THey appear twice now tho cause I put them in my folder.
Is it safe to delete them from the system file, or won't it let me. If I ever did a factory reset to sell, etc...would they reappear?
Thanks a TONNN - 05-13-2012, 09:38 PM #11

I'm not familiar with the GN's mode of operation but from what you described I would suggest deleting one of the files in the auto ringtones folder and see if it comes back. Make sure the file you delete is not in sdcard/media so it doesn't just get it from there again. This should tell us if after doing a factory reset the ringtones will come back.
