Wireless Charger For My Phone

So I have a wireless charger and a samsung galaxy S6 I think
It's the waterproof version with that funny clip on the charger port so I didn't want to have to find a pin or something to open it and got a wireless charger
I put it on the charger face down and the light on the wireless charger starts flashing, but it doesn't charge, is it because of the waterproof back?

What do I need to do to make it work?

Welcome to Android Central! You typically place the phone's back on the wireless charger, not the screen. Have you tried that?

I have, and nothing seems to happen, I searched around and I couldn't find anything on this matter.

The light only starts flashing when I put it faced down on its screen, when I place it down on the back on the charger nothing happens.

You said that you have a "Galaxy S6 I think." Can you clarify which exact phone you have?

You don't have a case on, right? What brand of charger is it? Does the charger work fine on other devices?

I have a case on and its the waterproof snap on one, the charger is samsung make and so is the cable, the cable charges my phone fine.

I should add I have no case, its just the waterproof back panel

It'd be ideal if you could test the wireless charger on another device, to make sure it's functioning correctly.

I have just tried it on another device and it came out with the same result, I think I might have a galaxy S5, rather than an S6, is there different makes of wireless charger pads I need?

That's the issue. The S5 requires a wireless charging back cover. Galaxy S5 wireless charging | Android Central. Sorry, I should've noticed that you have the S5 instead of the S6!
