Are you running a custom Rom?

Seems I have this issue at times when running certain Roms. Device won't wake up, like the power button is unresponsive. Not a big deal, as after a couple of times of doing the long press, it finally re-boots.

But for me, it's a rom/kernel issue not waking the display. But sure acts like a faulty power button :D:D:D

running stock rom haven't installed 3.2 update( maybe it's mad),acts as you describe nonresponsive button. Hasn't been dropped, was thinking about splitting case to ohm out switch for further diagnostic .Leaving on a trip in two days hoping to remedy this so I don't have to drag out my laptop. Thanks for any additional input, been reading your posts in this forem and you have been helpful to many

OK so I got home tonight 'popped cover off back and the micro-switchthat the power button pushes on has come off the mother board. Guess I'll be sending it off to Acer for repair
