One of the things I've never liked about Honeycomb or even ICS is that the status bar takes up screen real state. Like when surfing, watching videos (you'll also have side bars here since it shrinks the resolution), and even games. Compared to my older Samsung Galaxy tab 7" you can tell the difference in actual screen viewing real state and it make the Galaxy seem to have a larger screen. Someone recommended this app to me and I've mentioned it in other threads but I thought the subject should have its own thread. Anyhow below is what I use and it works great. It also does not hinder scrolling performance such as the case with Honeybar. This also has a more subtle icon in the status bar. I use it quite often.
