Still no love. I can get into CWM still thank God so all is not lost. Now just to see how I can get back to stock-ish to try the update again.

No luck in finding it. Did a search in / for anything larger than 100 megs. Didn't locate anything I didn't recognize as something that is already on the system.

Anyone know where Acer is hiding this update?

Got mine in south Texas about an hour ago. Visually ICS takes a bit of getting used to but I like the fonts. So far everything is running smoothly.

The way the XOOM forced an OTA for 4.0.4 was to clear Google framework. When you go to the OTA it would say that the device hasn't checked for an update since 1969. It would force it. Someone should give that a try.

On the Acer website. Once I input the model info, the file appeared as an underlined link. I clicked on it to download it to my A500.

Update just came in, Chicago, smooth update, no bugs so far, very fast & snappy so far. Still playing and setting it all up as some of the menus are different.

Are you talking about the ring that is on the start up screen? I have it. You can either unlock the screen or go to the camera

Never mind I had to go download the enhancement from Acer. It's downloading now.

I don't think that is the Acer ring they are talking about. That is just the slide to unlock screen.

Hopefully they have face unlock in future updates.

Acer ring is a new button in the midle of the taskbar, when you click it a ring shows op. In the ring you can change the volume, see your bookmarks, and some apps you put in it. And other stuff
The acer iconia a200 has it

No dice from Ottawa, Canada. Even tried the tablet enhancer route from Acers website... Nada!
