Can we not get face unlock with ICS? I was looking forward to it.

Face Unlock is on hold

Security issues, ie photographs, accuracy, etc was not making it.

You can Google it but here is one article quote:

"Despite aggressively defending the feature shortly after its release, Google later confessed that Face Unlock is more of a gimmick than true biometric security."

It may be a gimmick, but it is pretty cool. I don't exactly have anything high security so I'm using it and its better than not having any security at all. They should have put it on there and let people decide if they want to use it.

I've never really had a need for security on my tablet since it stays in my home, but not having any type of security seems like a big miss to me. I mean there isn't even an option for a pin# or pattern which has been on every android device I have seen since 1.6!

Go to setting -> security -> screen unlock. You should have pattern and pin locking capability.
