Power Cord UK/US

Hi folks, just picked up my Acer Tab today in NY. I live in the UK and was wondering...
If I buy a UK power-cord when I'm back home, will it work fine? Is it the power-pack that is a different voltage in the UK, or is it the device itself?

In the first instance, I plan to get a US-UK adaptor with a transformer to change the power from 120 to 240 volts for the UK. I would prefer the proper 240 volt power pack if possible though

Power Pack

Look at the back of the AC charger, its rated 100 to 240 volts so you'll just need an adapter to fit your outlets back in the ole country mate!. Same problem if I go back to Oz some day. And a longer power cord...is it short enough?
Anyone had any luck finding a car charger for the Acer?
