So I was wondering if this tablet could play Fortnite. I was thinking about getting a cheap tablet for my son that was still able to play Fortnite. It looks like it should be able to just can't find out anywhere if it is able.

A fire HD tablet doesn't have the required RAM and probably lacks the processing power needed for it. When it launched on Android most devices weren't powerful enough to run it, was only available for a few flagship phones/tablets. These are the requirements listed by Epic Games.

Fortnite is a high-fidelity game that is compatible with devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 8.0 or higher, minimum 4GB of RAM, and GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

So seeing how I was talking about the new 10 plus with 4gb ram, a Mali-G72 MP3, and the new fire os is based on Android 9. By what you said it should run.

I wasn't aware they were up to 4gb RAM now, thought it was still 3gb on the plus, so looks like it should run it.
