No Numbers......Help

OK just noticed that I can't type numbers on my Kindle I'm getting stul like @#$ instaed of 123 anyone else having this issue and if so is there a fix!!

Can you give more info? Where are you typing? Is it all the time? Are you using the normal keyboard or the symbol keyboard?

Was typing in Facebook and it just started. I'm using a normal kindle keyboard but it's doing it on the symbols keyboard too.

Shift lock? (Just guessing, don't have my Kindle Fire nearby to check the keyboard.)

That could be it, I've been restarting my kindle when it does it. It does it periodically. Next time it acts up I will check and see if the shift is locked.
