Problem using DNS over HTTPs

When using DOH on my Samsung A50 it doesn't show as active when Private DNS is deactivated. When I go to cloudflare test site https://1.1.1.1/help I get the following.



But when I activate Private DNS with server 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com I see "Using DNS over HTTPS (DOH) as yes.

These are 2 separate protocols and should not be dependant on the other. Can anyone suggest why this failure is occurring?

What is DOH? Please provide further details so that we are able to assist you.
