After numerous emails to the app developer team all were updated by the time public 12 was released and all work for me now. Sometimes app developers are a little slow to update their apps for new OS versions.
I did exactly that and got the disturbing news that this is a known issue. Going from iOS to Android is often problematic for Noom. Their only solution was not what I wanted to hear. Delete my data and account, get refunded, and start again from square one on Android. This is a pretty risky-dink outfit if they cannot restore my data to a new device because it began on one platform and now I want to use another. What I'm going to do is close my account, take the refund, and just use Fitbit.
But it's not an Android problem. it's a Noom problem. They say they have no plans to address it in the near future too. According to them, it's just now it is.
