Is there going to be another upgrade to fix the clock on the upgrade to 12 on the home screen or away where we can at least either remove it completely from the home screen or make it smaller something it's one of the most horrible things that they've come up with.

What device do you have? On my Pixel 4a 5G with Android 12 the clock is a widget that can be moved, resized or configured to your liking (within the bounds of available designs).

Do you mean the day/date in the upper left corner with or without the temp below it? Cause I can pretty much move the clock around except to that area with the day/date located.

And if it IS the day/date item @RETG noted, that is (partially) the at-a-glance feature. It does not seem as though the date can't be removed but the at-a-glance portion can be.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you actually referring to the clock on the lockscreen, rather than on the homescreen? If you have all lockscreen notifications turned off, the lockscreen clock will be the huge one. If you turn on lockscreen notifications, that will reduce the size and put it in the upper left.

It irritates me too; however, I believe it is designed that way for Android 12 but not on Pixel 6 models. I have seen a few posting over on the Pixel 6/6pro threads for home screens that show other items in that same area. I've been meaning to ask since i have learned to live with the day/date in that upper left position and the clock in the center.
