These last few mornings, I pick up my Pixel 6 Pro and find that the WiFi connection is solid, but the cellular is showing No Service.

Tried flipping airplane mode on and off - WiFi comes back quickly but still No Service.

Restart phone and now comes back with 50-60% bars on cellular which is about right for my home.

Pixel 6 Pro with Android 13 and QPR1. Network is Google Fi.

T-Mobile in my area is always working on the towers and my signal always changes daily. I called them and they said they should be done in a few months.

So, as I am working from home today, I was lazing about in bed this morning, putzing with my phone, when I looked up and realized that I once again was showing no service.

This time, I recalled that I have this app on my phone. After reviewing the current status, I used the app's "Refresh Signals" option, just to see if it would have any effect. Nope, no change. So, like the last time, I restarted the phone and the cell service was immediately restored.

If this were a T-Mobile tower maintenance issue as proposed above, I don't know that, in both cases, restarting my phone would immediately restore service...

I wonder if this has anything to do with the QPR1 beta, but it'd be hard to compare since you'd have to flash back to stock (which I think requires the phone to be wiped, right?).

Fwiw, I'm now on the QPR update that was released two days ago (or, was it yesterday?).

Right, but it's still beta, so it's hard to say how much of this might be due to that beta-ness, or if it has more to do with the phone's hardware.

This is why I got rid of t-mobile. I recently switched from Verizon to take advantage of connect by t-mobile plans. But my connection at home would drop every 20 min or so. (Searching) But it doesn't happen now that I switched back to Verizon with us mobile.
