Sprint Gets Gingerbread for Samsung Epic 4G Today

Just got the notice from Sprint today that they are downloading Gingerbread to the Samung Epic 4G owners today. It will take some time and they'll send me another message to let me know when it's ready. I need to set my phone aside on a wifi network for 20 minutes to let it completely update.

It's about time!!!

I received mine but it's hard to tell the difference except for wifi, whew it's super fast.

I just updated my samsung epic with the 2.3.5 update. but I dont really know what is new or what I can do now with this update. CAN ANY ONE HELP?!?!.

DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!!! It's just like the last android update. My phone just kept looping in the boot process and, of course, samsung's only advice for fixing it is to do a hard reset. So, once again I'm reloading and installing off of my stuff. Can't WAIT to get rid of this phone!!! Not the only problem. This is my second one and the speakers keep going out. Had the first replaced because the sound was distorted, and sure enough, same thing happened to the second. Love samsung, HATE this phone!
