Garbled speech using phone or blkuetooth device

I am having issues with people hearing me clearly when speaking. Every third word or syllable seems to drop/be garbled. I took the phone into the Sprint store and they replaced the speaker stating that it was blown. They also cleaned the speakers. Still having problems and it only seems to be getting worse. All of the updates are current on the phone. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? It's annoying and my friends are getting frustrated when we talk using the phone. Same issue when talking using the Bluetooth.

Does the issue happen all the time (with or without Bluetooth)?

Seems to be an odd issue. What device do you have?

Another suggestion: Try a Voice over Internet Provider. Use that Basically connecting to your wifi and talking on the phone. If the call is increased significantly, it is the cell signal.
