Need to move from HTC Inspire, IMEI SV says 3

I need to move files from my HTC Inspire so I can upgrade the phone. Mainly I want to move the photos. I got a new computer, so I no longer have HTC Sync. I thought my OS was 2.2.1, but the IMEI SV says 3, and I think that is the revision number, right?

I looked for the Inspire forum that I used to go to, thinking it might have advice on moving on, but that forum is gone.

I think HTC or AT&T should have told me that the phone is going to move off of support, but they did not.

What do I do?

In general, devices lose support after about 2 years. Yours is 6 years old (!!!), so that's not surprising from an industry standpoint.

Connect the phone to your computer via USB cable, then open Windows Explorer on your computer and see if the phone shows up there. If so, go to the /DCIM/Camera directory (or possibly the /DCIM/100Media directory, which HTC tends to use instead) to find the photos taken by your camera. You can select them all, then drag and drop them to your computer hard drive.
