reset droid and downloading icons appear when attempting to recharge

I had to do a hard reset to GALAXY 10.1, now have ICS instead of previously updated Jellybean - I prefer ICS and device now working fine except when I attempt a charge. After plugging in to wall outlet, the droid and downloading reset page appears instead of battery charge. I shut down again, plug in and then get the battery icon for the recharge. Any suggestions how I can get the reset not to start?
