"SD Card Unexpectedly Removed" only on Twitter apps?

Hi,

Recently I bought a HTC Desire C running android 4.0.
However, whenever I load any kind of Twitter app, whether it's the official one or not, the phone says "SD card unexpectedly removed", followed by the app crashing. The MicroSD card I am using is a 4gb class 4 SanDisk.

I have used the phone for a couple of days without using Twitter and I haven't had the error message once. This seems really strange to me - why would Twitter crash the SD card? Seems like one of its processes kills it every time.

I have ordered a new SD card, class 10, which should come in a couple of days.

I'm really hoping this isn't a phone issue, as its brand new and I'd rather not take it back.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Help appreciated.

your sd card may be crashed by virus.try for scanning.

Thanks for the reply. I have already scanned the card on Windows and it said there was nothing wrong with the card. I then formatted the phone and the SD card, but the problem still occurs. Any more ideas?
