Turned off some notifications, but still getting them

I use the GroupMe app a lot. Since some of my groups tend to blow up, I simply turned off the vibrate notifcation. Ever since my phone upgraded to JB, it doesn't work anymore. I've tried restarting my phone, taking the battery out, uninstalling and re-installing the app, and nothing works. Turning off "vibrate" in notifications doesn't do a thing. I've contacted the GroupMe support, and they can't think of a single thing that might be causing it. Is anyone else having this issue?

Another app I'm having problems with is the game Blood Brothers. I turned off push notifications for that game, but I'm still getting them. This isn't as big of a deal as my GroupMe problem though.

For GroupMe I'd recommend you check out "LightFlow"--> https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...geconsulting.android.lightflow&token=yfB0-NPc
Turn off the sound & vibration within the GroupMe App itself & then let LightFlow handle them for you. Same applies for any App you want LightFlow to monitor so you don't get double Notifications.
