Can't Turn On Wifi on Galaxy S3?

I just update my phone to Jellybean 4.1 and I trying to turn on wifi but it doesn't turn on instead it keeping saying " turning on..." But it never did. How can I fix this? Please Help

Hi Michelle Welcome to Android Central, were you rooted before updating? have you tried simply rebooting? try toggling airplane mode on then off and attempt to turn wifi on again?

Ok I don't know if this will help but what do you have to loose, but try rebooting your router.

Have you tried clearing your cache in recovery? Sometimes old cache gets in the way of the update?

OH this could make a difference, are you sure the file was for your model and carrier GS3? where did you get the file from? if the package was not meant for your device this could mess up your radios.

have you tried reflashing the whole package?

also before you do anything, try this app called Wifi fixer
