Missing photos.

Something strange is going on with my Note 2. I use Picasa to store my photos. This morning, uploaded 4 photos. It gave the appearance that they went ok.
Yet, when I go into my gallery in my phone, they don't show up in Picasa.
When I go into the web browser, Google, then photos.
The pics are all there in the Picasa web album.
Also, and no I did not delete them. I had 29 photos in the phones internal storage. They are gone, luckily those are backed up.
Short of factory reset, which does not guarantee it will fix the problem.
Is there anything else I can do? Thanks.

Maybe your phone hasn't synced Picasa's album yet, or your settings are set to hide Picasa albums?

I never touched the settings. I just checked , and everything is checked off. Thanks.

I did a hard reset. That seemed to fix the problem.

Really, because I'm having the same issue I think. I have over 2000 pictures backed up to Picasa. But it only shows so many. Then I get a bunch of blank squares.

The hard reset I know is extreme. But it worked for me. It happened to me again today, but it fixed itself.
I personally think it's a bug with Picasa, but I could be wrong.

Its not really a big deal to me. It was just something that I noticed.
