iOS-like badge using Missed It!

Is it possible to have iOS-like badges in the corner of app icons, such as SMS and missed calls, using the Missed It! app? If so, could someone inform me of the enabled appearance settings needed to achieve this? If not, is there any other way of achieving this?

PS: I use Nova Launcher Prime on a Samsung Galaxy S4 running Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2
