Hi

I have recently moved to Australia from the UK and brought my HTC desire x with me. I have got myself a poor paid sim and everything works fine except Google play. For some reason it still thinks I am in the UK and I can't download content which should be available in Australia, and still shows prices in GBP and not AUD. Any help in solving this would be grateful.

Hi
Have you tried changing billing address of your default payment instrument in Google Wallet?
Because Google uses it to determine your location

If you have already changed the address and the problem still persists, you may clear Play Store data (Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Clear Data) and re open Google Play.

Thanks for your advice, but after hunting for ages on the forums and trying every bit of advice I finally found one that worked.

To update my location on Google play I purchased an item, I used top eleven football, rebooted my phone, and it worked.
