Hi, I am an amateur about this. Basically I rooted my phone when it was 4.2.2. Then I updated the phone officially (directly from the phone option) to 4.3. The superuser is still installed on the phone. I want to remove the root (maybe has been removed by the update) and the superuser, making it like factory default. I have tried factory default reset but the superuser is still there. I am using nexus 4. Please help me and tell me in steps. I am a total amateur. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate any help. Thanks again

Your best option would be to grab the official Factory Images from Google for the Nexus 4 and flash the device to 4.3. This will reset everything and remove root, leave it completely stock.

As far as saving your important information, you can grab Helium from the Play Store and use that to save any important apps & related data. Contacts/Calendar and other options can be sync'd thru your Settings to your Google account.
