Ok,
I just tried pasting a piece of text on a forum 20 times, & it always pasted ~10 lines above and ~50 characters to the right of my selected location.
If this is the best that android can accomplish then this is pathetic! !!!! & yes, after 10 minutes of repeated attempts which have all failed, I am furious.
How in the world am I supposed to work with this level of antipathy to so basic an issue?
What will it take to get an accurately working keyboard and shortcuts and a cursor which will actually remain where placed without jumping?
And for the Android lovers who swear by it... This isn't about you. It's about having consistently failed attempts at doing the most basic editing with the keyboard and cursor, so please don't go off on me.
