s3 sd card dismount problem

hi all
Last night my galaxy s3 updated to 4.3, all has been ok till and hour ago, the sd card has dismounted, and i cannot get it to mount again, its says its corrupt and format it!

any body else had this issue after the 4.3 update, i m gutted theres loads of pictures on there too!

Not positive about the S3, but the S4 automaticalls backs up my pictures to google. Between that and my music (which is still on my laptop from where I added it from) the rest is just app data that might be inconvenient to lose but not a deal breaker. If you don't already, I'd recommend automatically backing up your pictures. I disabled it bringing my picaso photos down from google, so it is a completely transparent backup.
