errors for playstore version 4.2.0

I download apps off the Google play store and it says download complete. I have the auto widget option enabled(on),and my home screen has room on it and I have enough memory for it and also I'm signed in but they don't appear on any of my home screens ,but in my settings they show there there only in the settings,but it won't let me open the app I ?downloaded"!!! Please tell me why this is happening.

Welcome to Android Central! So when you bring up the App Drawer (i.e., by pressing the circle with the grid of dots at the bottom center of the homescreen's Favorites Tray), you don't see the installed apps there?

Are these truly apps you're installing, or might they be live wallpapers or widgets only? Those won't show up in your App Drawer (well, widgets will show up in the Widgets section of the App Drawer).
