How did *#*#4636#*#* code!??

Tried to enter the *#*#4636#*#* menu on Samsung galaxy win i8552 and it didn't work. Wanted to check CPU/batt usage beyond what the standard UI has available. Did a different command replace this one? Not looking for an app that does this but rather the built in functionality.
