Is anyone else experiencing blank Featured Playlist showing up in the My Library widget? I tried clearing the Google Music cache but no luck.

You could try Clearing Data for Google Play Music in Settings>Apps>All. When you restart Google Play Music, it will have to refresh and repopulate its database with all of your music from your cloud library. But that might get the artwork and My Library widget working correctly again.
