What device do you have? Is it one that a KK OS has been written for? Usually if there is an OS update for your device and you want to force it to update you can go online, or to someplace like XDA Developers and get the .ruu file. It will, or should come with instructions on how to update the OS. Often you put the .ruu file on the root of an SD card and restart the device. Once updated delete the file and you're done. If you don't know what the root of the SD is it just means that the file is not in a folder but just on the card. i.e. If you plug in your SD to a PC the file destination would look something like this K:yourdeviceupgrade.ruu , with K being the drive letter assigned to your SD.
